FOUNDATIONAL READER PROGRAM

Does the entire deal of reading have you choking (like this gull chowing down a starfish)?  Others around you may be asking what is going on, while you or your student just can’t get a grip on reading.    

Prerequisite: assessment for word decoding at below a grade one level.     

Expect to become familiar with basic vowel and consonant noises and gain a sense of personal accomplishment by reading simple sentences and stories.

LOFTIER LITERACY PROGRAM FOR READING

21-LESSON SERIES    

You have smelled the flowers but are still struggling to “pet the bee” of reading. Perhaps you have become familiar with consonants and some vowel noises, but you or your student still lag behind others when it comes to putting it all together. This program increases your confidence as a reader by helping you develop skills in the areas of speech clarity and letter sequence control, decoding words, and sound recognition.    

Prerequisite: assessment for word decoding at above a grade one level.        

Expect to see great gains, such as a reading climb of two or more grade levels with this proven program.

FLUENCY PROGRAM

You have overcome to become a reader at your grade level or above, but while you were learning to read the areas of vocabulary and reading comprehension have become deficient as is common. Frequently the area of writing composition could use shoring up. We can help you with that too.

Prerequisite: completion of the 21-lesson Loftier Literacy Program for Reading.

Expect to meet with a variety of more difficult words, but learn to understand their meanings, and read them fluently in an informative setting that develops your comprehension.
